A firm favourite with all Cherries fans, Eddie Howe enjoyed three separate spells with Bournemouth as a player and is now two thirds of the way towards matching that number as a manager, having first been in charge between 2008 and 2011 before beginning his current tenure on the 13th October 2012.

Howe’s first spell with the south coast club was also his first as a manager and his success in bringing Bournemouth promotion to League One earned him a shot at Premier League management with Burnley in 2011. After that sojourn to the North of England went pear-shaped however, Howe returned to the Cherries and has led them all the way from League One to the Premier League in just over three years.
