The 2015 Rugby World Cup is just about to draw to a close, with next weekend seeing Australia and New Zealand duke it out for the trophy whilst Argentina and South Africa take part in the soul destroying endeavour that is the third place playoff.

The tournament so far has seen no fewer than 46 completed matches between the world’s 20 top rugby playing nations, to get to the point where we are now just 80 minutes from crowning a champion. It seems a perfect time therefore, to assess the action we have already seen and to pick out the six sides amongst those 20 who have really stood up and out performed their pre-tournament expectations.
